3) Language Ability
You must receive a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 7 in each of the four language abilities i.e. Writing, Reading, Listening, and Speaking by appearing in recognized language tests in English or French. Your Express Entry profile should contain the test results.
When you submit your application for permanent residency, they must be valid. The validity of your language tests is two years from the date of the test result.
The Express Entry application management system is being used to handle the FSW. By 2024, Canada hopes to have received over 110,000 immigrants thanks to Express Entry. Most Express Entry applicants who are accepted to Canada do so via the FSWP. According to Canadian government research, FSW immigrants develop successful and satisfying careers in the country.
Additionally, applying for immigration through the FSW is advantageous since, in contrast to the longer processing timelines for Canada's other skilled worker programs, you can obtain permanent residency within six months.
Three skilled worker programs in Canada, including the FSW, employ the Express Entry application management system. The FSW is your greatest Express Entry option if you have never lived in Canada before and are not a skilled trades professional. You must first check to determine if you meet the requirements of the FSW. You then send in your Express Entry profile. A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score will be assigned to you based on your age, education, language proficiency, and work experience, among other things. The Canadian government holds Express Entry lotteries regularly every two weeks, asking those with the highest CRS scores to apply for permanent residency. Within six months of completing your finished application, you should acquire your permanent resident status.
Steps of FSW
An outline of the steps you must take to apply for immigration to Canada under the FSWP is provided below:
1. Find out if you are eligible for the FSWP in step one. .
2. Upload your Express Entry profile to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's website (IRCC).
